Is there a way to get a working Windows installation in CSM mode on a PCIe SSD which also has MacOS installed? Although it is possible to simply install to a SATA SSD, I'm curious about this kind of installation.
So far by creating a hybrid MBR disk and preparing the procedure through virtualization, I've only managed to get an unbootable installation ("No bootable device" error). My understanding is that only in UEFI mode—now potentially problematic for the cMP—will Windows boot on a PCIe SSD.
