Hi I have a quick question, I have a friend with a windows Xp computer, and all the songs on her iTunes are greyed out where she can't click on them and play them, down by the status bar with the songs count gig count and day count there is a little lock. Any ideas how to get this baby to play?

Thanks,
Steve

Windows or Mac, it will show up grey on any other machine aside from the one from which the music was copied from.

The reason it shows up grey is because the music on the iPod is sync (or better yet, tied up) to an specific iTunes library.

He/She must select the option to manually manage music in iTunes to be able to play music on or copy music from other machines.
