Hey everyone,

I am one of the unfortunate windows touch users that when I try to sync a large amount of data to itunes, it pops up and says something along the lines of "ipod could not be read from or written too" or it will say, "ipod is not connected"

So does Jailbreaking fix this issue somehow? From what I have read you have to make the touch visable for itunes again, so it changed something.

Was just wondering/hoping that someone could either tell me how to fix this issue non jailbreak or if I jailbreak my touch it will fix the sync issue.

Thanks,
Cory

Heh. I was just about to post that I started receiving these messages after jailbreaking..... have you tried doing a restore to fix it?

yeah I have, I even called apple support, and wasted 2 hours of my life with them, they couldnt tell me what was wrong either.

I'm going to take the plunge and jailbreak my touch, cant hurt and I can always restore latter on if I need to. I will post back if it fied the error or not.
