Windows Media Player and 10.4

Anyone else having major problems with it? Ive gotten it to not crash maybe 2 times out of nearly a 100 attempts. Whats going on?!?

Nope, no problems here. I remember the installation being a bit shaky in Panther though.
But, it's still a resources hog. 🙁

The stand-alone app crashes every time, but web-page embedded WMP stuff plays just fine. 😕

for me its mostly both....or the web video will work but no audio.

It's working fine for me. Have you tried ditching the preferences? Maybe ditch the whole thing and reinstall it?

tried that...same result. What build of Tiger are you using?

Click on the Apple (upper left hand corner) > About This Mac > Click on Version 10.4 once and it will change to the build you have.

I assume all current retail versions of Tiger (like mine) have this same build number, right?

ahhh, Im 8A425...probably some bugs have been fixed. Thanks 🙂
