windows media player not responding.

ok...i know nobody likes it, but for some reason it isnt responding when i open a link or a file. all it does is bounce up and down on the dock and say application not responding . i tried reinstalling it, but it does the same thing. before, it would worked pefectly. i like this player because sometime vlc and mplayer cant recongize it. any suggestion?

Have you checked out this? It has played every .WMV I've ever thrown at it.

Try trashing the preferences file for WMP also. Reinstallign doesn't get rid if that. Its in Users/User/Library/Preferences/Windows Media Player Prefs

Same here. It even plays some that Windows Media Player doesn't like 🙂

I cannot get it to play the CNN news links. Everything else works just fine.
