I get a ziped file everyday from work that has windows media on it. On my hp i would just unzip it and convert it on iTunes. Now on my MBP i can't unzip the file or convert it. How do i extract the audio and get it on to iTunes.

Have you tried The Unarchiver or BetterZip to extract the .zip file yet?
You might need Flip4Mac to properly transcode the Windows Media file to a format iTunes understands.

i got it unzipped then i had to convert it. I found an app called smart converter and it did the trick.
