Can anyone find me a graph/chart/picture that shows me the history of all the OS's market share? I want to see how we got to where we are today by the numbers. I've Google all over the place and can't find anything decent. If any of you have any links to shoot my way I'd really appreciate it.

the thing about it is, most people now are brought up using eather all windows, or using really old macs. because of this, people think macs are slow, outdated, have one click still, have an ugly interface, and have almost no 3rd party apps. but as mac users all know, thats very untrue. also, because most companies use windows now, it will take years to convert most of the market to macs. its a shame:(

Here are some long-term market share breakdowns. They don't cover the past year or two, but numbers from IDC etc. for recent periods should be easier to track down than this older stuff.

Often wondered about this question. The final page of the second of these two articles, (conclusions) has an interesting graph showing overall market share. It would seem that despite the Macintosh finally coming of age with OS X its market share has continued to shrink and shrink. I wonder what the future holds...

Mac users can use virtually any mouse on the market, they're not required to use Apple mice. Therefore the one button mouse thing is a point for switchers.
