Does anyone know if you can load Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition on a new MacBook Pro with fusion? I am new at this. If it is possible, where could I find info or steps to load it, or is it to complicated and better if I had an IT guy do it? I can load CD's and follow the directions, but I know nothing about a server. I need it to run one program to take my patients medical records on.

Thanks

It's not explicitly on the supported list, but as it is based on Windows Server 2003 it should work.

Having someone who knows about servers around for the install is probably a good idea, though it sounds like you won't be running it 24/7 if you will be running it on your MBP in a VM. The starting and stopping of the VM may disrupt your workflow.

If it needs to run 24/7 of if anyone other than you may need access you might be better off installing it on a real, but low end server (~$500 hardware costs) instead of a VM.

Assuming you are in the US, you may also have to worry about HIPAA and other local requirements that an IT specialist could help you with.
