So I'm having some problems with windows shares on my network recently. I'm not sure if this is coincidence or not, but yesterday I made another attempt at encrypting my wireless network in which became more of a hastle than it was worth, for some reason I have never been able to encrypt my wireless network so that it works flawlessly.
On my network I have 3 Macs (All Wireless), and 4 PC's, all wired. All the PC's used to show up as shares in the finder and I was able to connect to them no problem and read/write files. Now recently they've started showing up, however I am unable to write to them, and I get an error when trying to write. I've also started noticing some random PC's showing up in the finder which apparently seem to be coming from the the WINS setup on one of the macs.
I really have no idea what is going on here, but it is making me quite crazy being unable to figure this out.
So to sum it up my main questions are:
1) Why can't I write to these windows shares anymore?
2) What are these 2 random shares showing up for from the Mac and how can I get rid of them?
