I hate having to use Windows here at work, but I have to. We have 6 people here in the office, and each of us talk to clients at different times. My boss wants us to write down each communication we have with a client and put it in the real file. It seems it would be much easier and much more efficient to have a software program that we can all access that will list these communications for any client. Can anyone recommend one for Windows? I almost think HyperCard Stacks might work (or something similar), but we are stuck on Windows...

Thanks!

well, you could write your own database webapp or native app. it would be pretty easy to write a php/mysql web application to do this for you, or commission someone else to do it for pretty cheap.

or, you could get something like filemaker pro: http://www.filemaker.com/products/fm_home.html

that's the newest version. my old office used this to keep track of all clients and added any communication in the comments section for each client. the database is centralized, so everyone who connects to it will be able to add, update, and access all clients in the system. plus, it's really easy to use (at least the mac version.)

hope that helps!
