Windows to Mac help (n00b)

how do I go about transferring data(music, photos, videos, games) from my windows laptop to my mac, without the usage of sd cards, external hard drives, dvds, cds, etc., etc.

Nope 🙁 i tried looking through help and everything, the closest I came was my window 7 discovered the Imac, but the mac couldn't discover the windows 7 pc😕😕😕😕

Unusual, whenever I plug my MBP into a Win network I see all computers, printers, hard drives.
Go to System Preferences and select Sharing, after checking everything there, click in the search box in the top right of that window and enter 'Appletalk, check everything.
Keep trying the search box of the System Preferences pane.
It WILL work out, at the moment I am unable to do a walk thru for you, sorry.
Plus it's been a long time since I've had any need to re-check any of my Macs.
