My friend has had a Mac 'Skin' on his XP machine for years.. Granted it wasn't exactly the same, but you know..

I did it a few months ago. I dont like macs. I can plenty afford them considering my family sits comfortably in the top .5% of Americans and it would be about two weeks of work after taxes for me personally and I have hefty savings and investments (Which is why I would rather go "PC" over Mac considering I see no benefits to Macs. Saving a dollar is worth much more than making another dollar
). But I did do it for the lulz because my girlfriend is a mac user who plays on my computer sometimes. I didnt keep it though, nor did I go through the trouble of switching the locations of minimize and such.

And you are here, in a Mac forum, why? To share with the rest of us the important data about your financial status?
It's more of an Apple forum; and as I own multiple Apple devices, I see no problem here. My sharing of my financial status should be taken about as seriously as posters take comments such as "He probably can't afford a Mac/iPhone/iPad etc."
Adding anything other than a default skin is just asking for problems on top of the ones that will always naturally occur. I can't stand to skin anything, whether it be a product or an OS.
Regardless, I hope you see how it may be irritating to people to brag about how rich you are and how many Macs you *could* buy but don't want to because you don't like them. I'm struggling my way through school financially, can't afford to get married, and still using a 4-year-old Mac for everything.
It's basically responses like yours that affirm my disgust for ignorant wealthy people, and it's basically a slap in the face. I'm rich and you're not, loser!
Go haunt some PC forums, I'm sure they're just as easy to troll.
I guess you see how irritating it is to see people saying "You can't afford an Apple X and thats why you don't like it"

Funny, but I can't seem to find a "Recycle Bin" on my Mac Desktop! Also, drives typically appear on the Mac Desktop, not in a stack. All the other modifications, and they overlook something so simple? Typical Windows!

You can dislike Macs simply for their high price points and still be able to afford them. I know plenty of people who can afford a Mac but cannot justify paying $1,500+ for a machine to check their mail and use MS Office.
Besides, there are plenty of people out there who have Macs but cannot afford to pay off the credit card used to purchase them.

Agreed and with that, the theme is only skin deep, all of windows foibles and weaknesses are still present.
