Windows via VMware?

Is it possible to port VMware to OSX? I would love to run Windows (I am dying for Splinter Cell: Chaos theory) but I don't want Linux as a go between, nor do I want to wait for Microsoft mactopia to take their sweet time releasing a UB of VPC.

KEXT for Mac OS X Intel is being developed and should be done very soon. It will be free and work with Q. See this thread for details:

Yay! From the looks of that link, they're pretty darned close. Thanks. Also, I found (via the forum) http://www.runxponmac.com/ which will probably be the final host of the program and tutorial. It has a happy new home on my bookmarks bar.
