    i have an iMac with a 1tb drive aka 930gb and have split it in to 4 partions

    Maintosh HD =232gb
    Extra =232gb
    P2P=232GB

    ALL formated in the mac file system

    i created another partion and formated it as fat32 so that the windows installer can see it but it doesn't all i get when i select the partion to install on is one partion with 930gb

    anyboady got any idea why the fat32 partion is not showing

    Did you use the Boot Camp wizard to create the FAT32 partition? If not, you only have a GPT filesystem table, which Windows cannot understand. The Boot Camp wizard creates a hybrid GPT/MBR table.

    i'm having the same problem, i thought it was cause i tryed installing with a SP1 disk... but i figure i'd be able to get past that point though. Are you installing with a Sp1 or Sp2 disk?

    for some odd reason yes windows can read the gpt partition table as it the only gpt partition table i got

    none the less i got it working by making sure my windows partition was the third partition and out of the 4 i created

    to get it to fully worked you must remove the 200mb efi partition also
