Windows XP Installation on MBP Help

I recently purchased a macbook pro 13 in and I want to install windows on it. Whenever I attempt to install windows, boot camp works fine and Windows XP setup copies its files over but after the first restart it goes "disk error, hit any key to continue"...at this point i have to restart my computer and load up in OS X and remove the partition

Does anyone know what is going wrong? I used to use this disc on my old macbook running leopard...

Also I am re-downloading windows from my school but it is .exe but to burn i need to put it in a .iso format right? Please help
