No, I think you're wrong there, it's definitely real. The way the blueness of the screen reflects off the keyboard is perfect, no photoshopper could get that effect just right. The envelope under the corner is obviously fake, but it's so fake it's to distract you from the obvious overall non-fakeness.

Even if it is real, what reason does anyone have to not believe it's a guest OS running on top of OS X on either an Intel or PPC Mac?

Great. Now maybe he has some time to figure out how to focus his camera. That's still pissing me off.

They aren't showing pictures or code at the moment, but at least real, identifiable people are involved.

Since the osxbook guys were the ones that got Knoppix running in the first place and released a test-drive image, it seems perfectly credible.

Here's hoping one of these two teams will collect the bounty.

Uh the reason all the pictures are extremely horrible are because of the fact that it's a camera phone, as he states in most of the pictures. That'd be why they suck so bad.

I believe they are real, but who knows.
