There is one program that I need and it only works on Windows XP or Windows 7. Currently I have Mac Mini with VMWare Fusion set up for running Windows XP or 7.

I would like to run Windows XP or 7 on Mac Studio. Has anyone found a good solution?
I tried UTM but I can't seem to access my Mac Studio drive using UTM.

UTM (and what it uses QEMU) is the only way. If you have a Windows PC up and running, you can remote desktop into it, that's what I will do when my Studio gets here. (hopefully today) I used UTM on my M1 MBA and the experience was pretty lacking.

Yeah, using UTM is not very good way to run Windows.

I guess I just have to keep using Mac Mini for Windows app.

Parallels supports windows 11 on ARM, and windows 11 has an amd64 compatibility layer. Will your program run on W11 at all?

unfortunately it is one of those archaic app. It only supports Windows XP and Windows 7.

I did try using Windows 11, but no go.
