Mkay so. I got my macbook arounda month ago, and just today I decided to try and download windows XP onto it using bootcamp. We (a friend came over to help) found a free download thingy for bootcamp/I already had bootcamp on the computer (one of the two), so we set it up to allow windows 5g and the rest for Mac. So we inserted the Windows XP disc and installed it, but when it asked us to choose a partition, there was only one. So, being the stupid person that I am, clicked that one. When it "finished installing" it said it was going to restart, but when it restarts, it just goes back to the setup, and everything starts all over again. I can't even get to my main OS X homepage. I've tried clicking the eject button vigourously, but the Windows XP disc doesn't even come out. I could really use some help with this issue.

very helpful

Man,.....

what an informative and helpful reply;(
Just what you expect from a forum.

I have exactly the same problem and have read the manual. Nothing
of this sort is covered in the manual, as it only details a trouble free install.

Thats why people like us need others with experience and knowledge not
otherwise documented, and come to 'Forums' like this.

Thanks a bunch
Hopefully we can be as unhelpful to you one day.
