Comtes de Champagne, Grand Cru, Blanc de blancs 2011 and Meursault-Perrières 1er Cru, Château de Meursault 2020. Picture on the other thread haha

For some reason, champagne has never much appealed to me.

However, as for the Meursault, well, now, that is an entirely different matter.

Will head over to the other thread to salivate, drool, and whimper in agonised envy.

Do enjoy.

Trappistes Rochefort 8 - a splendid Belgian beer, perfect for this time of year - is keeping me company this wet, and cold, and dark and miserable January evening.

Had a Japanese Lager by Harland brewing Company. For a second, I thought I was drinking cold sake. Very good beer by the way.

Also had a Pilsner by North Coast Brewing. Was pretty good.

The grain won tonight: I am sipping (savouring, thoroughly enjoying) a glass (a Trappistes Rochefort glass, goblet, chalice, naturally) of Trappistes Rochefort 8, a splendid beer from Belgium.

Perfect winter fare.

Went to a good ole standby last night. Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale. (The glass was actually clean, I got a little heavy on the pour and there might have been a little head on it)

Grape or Grain is a redundant debate this eveing, as I only have the Grape to hand.

(Memo to self: Must stock up on The Grain tomorrow).

So, which grape shall it be?
