I did.Splendid. Enjoy.
Enjoy.Next Friday, I'm going with some friends to a tap takeover by Octobräu, a microbrewery from Hesse. Until then, I probably won't be trying any new beers, because my regular pub won't be getting any new ones until then.
This was my beverage of choice yesterday evening.Oh well, then today it's another Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen.
They are quite bland, agreed, but they do work well with much Asian cuisine.I found most of these Asian restaurant beers to be rather bland, but I can see how well they fit spicy food.
I love the expression "slight oversupply".Lately, I've mainly been living on standard wheat beer (Paulaner, Erdinger); I'm considering popping into a decent bar again tomorrow, at least. Last week, however, there was a slight oversupply of alcohol with whisky and beer tastings, so I'm currently cutting back a bit on my consumption to get back to a normal level.
Amen to that.I call it hard work ...
The problem with, as an adult, eventually replacing getting drunk with enjoying, is that you long for the enjoyment. It doesn't get less, it just gets better.
