    Product: WinRAR
    Error: Corrupt volumes

I have been trying to use WinRAR to archive and split large files for days but just can't get it to create a successful archive. It always happens with large files (probably 700M and greater). When I later try to read or extract the files from the split archives at least 1-3 is corrupt. I have even tried creating a solid archive, recovery files and some other things, but nothing has worked so far and each time I try I waste about an hour just on the compressing the files. Any help is much appreciated!

Some recovery steps of inbuilt WinRAR tool are:

    1. Open WinRAR application
    2. Click on file, and then select open
    3. A find archive window will be opened, select corrupt rar file from your system
    4. Click on open button
    5. Press Alt+R
    6. Repairing File Name.rar will be opened
    7. Click on browse to save repaired file at desired location
    8. Check Treat the corrupt archive as RAR box, and then click OK
    9. After corrupt RAR archive is repaired, click on close.
