Hi guys, I just saw an ad for this on Reddit. Is anyone familiar with this software? Anyone know what it is?

I'm guessing that this is a wrapper around either something like UTM or Apple's own virtualisation framework. I'm not sure how to download it (it's not compatible with my machine so the App Store blocks it by default) so I can't poke around inside it and see what's going on.

I think it's probably just a "pretty box" around stuff you could do for free if you knew what you were doing.

I haven’t seen this kind of pricing on an App Store app “Top Up 180 Minutes $0.99”

I need the ability to run real, full Excel and PowerPoint (the Windows version) on one of these when traveling for business - not the “lite” versions MSFT provides for Macs. And store the app files on the local disk so they can be accessed by other Mac apps, like attaching to an email. I don’t need any other Windows apps. What would be the best way to accomplish this.

VMware Fusion Pro would be the best, but it doesn't have shared folders between Windows ARM and macOS. It does have working copy-paste, so you can easily move files/folders between Windows and macOS.

I also agree with what @bogdanw said above. VMware Fusion Pro is free. You will have to use copy/paste to move files between OSes, but it works well. (I have not figured out how to set up shared folder directories and it sounds like from bogdanw that it's not possible)

If you really need the added convenience of local files, maybe look into a standalone license of Parallels Desktop.
