WINscp no /var/root

Apparently WINscp cannot find my /var/root folder. even though on my ipod the finder app has no problems locating it. Any help Much appreciated.


If there is anyway i add roms to the correct area without a computer id be very appreciative.
Ive tried the using installer.app adding new sources and then downloaqding them but the ROM app never finds them.
