Winter night pictures

I was standing in my window taking some pictures of a very special "color play" in the skies with my cannon eos400d when i noticed something weird. If someone can help me identify what this is I would be very happy 🙂

At this point the first thought I got was that it might be a parachuter or something

At this point I went back in to grab my Sigma 70 - 300mm.

Seems like something went wrong in the air.

I have not edited the images in any way yet, only re-sized them for the web.

looks like some kind of small jet or something. from the looks of it, its smoke.
just my guess.

It's a high altitude contrail.

Or a UFO.

I just like the pictures. I have no clue what it is in the sky though. The pictures are great though.
