i've jailbroken my iphone 3g running iOS4 with redsn0w 9.5 beta 5-3 and everything works fine with multi tasking untill i install winterboard were after installing it none of the back ground apps show up in the task manager (thing i dont no what its called).

Multitasking is still working as when i play the radio in one of my apps it will still play if i go back to the springboard but i cant stop the app from the task manager as its not there

if i uninstall winterboard then it starts working again.

is this a known problem or is it just me can anyone help thanks

Yeah I'm having the exact same problem, Jailbroke mine yesterday and it wasn't until I decided to install some custom sms tones, then winterboard buggered up the Task Manager thing.

Sucks alot, I wonder if it happens on the 3GS or even 4 when it comes out tomorrow. If so alot of people will be creating similar posts.

I think I can deal without having the custom sms tones for a while. Someone will fix it no doubt but its early days and I wouldn't expect anyone to do anything just yet.
