Winterboard on iPhone 3GS

I am recently jailbroke my iPhone 3GS but I can't seem to get the winterboard working on it yet. I tried to download it but it will not appear, does anyone know how t troubleshoot this issue and get winterboard to appear.

It should work. Only the first purplerain jailbreak didn't work. With redsn0w it should work now. Try reinstalling Winterboard. Also u have to reboot after installing it(it should reboot automatically). If it still doesn't work then re-jailbreak.
