there is a new winterboard update today that has so an extra features

Features are:

Server lock example
Solid status bar

Now I understand the solid status bar but what is the server lock example?

please somebody let me know!

Ditto....and I still don't know what "Files" does either. Not sure if it was native to Winterboard or if I downloaded something that added "Files" 😕

Server lock example appears to push a message from some server (presumably Saurik's) to your lock screen. Enable it, lock your phone then look at the "slide to unlock" screen. You should see a message.

how do you update it or know if I have the most current version? sorry i'm new to jailbreak.

Fire up Cydia and click on changes along the bottom. It should have the update there.
