wiping mac (leaving the Apps)

hi i'm giving my old imac to a friend...

is there any way of cleverly wipeing off all of my documents and other bits that are mine, but leaving some of the apps, without having to delete everything individually?

it has leopard installed.

It's probably easiest to make your friend a new user account and then delete your own. Remember that giving your friend the apps means you will no longer be licensed to use most of them, so you may as well hand over the install discs too. 🙂
