Wired keyboard to cMP just failed

Just got back from town and switched my cMP on and my wired keyboard of 5 years just not working in any of its USB slots. Tried it in my MB Pro and no joy either - Is it gone or is there anything I can try ?

Time for a new USB keyboard.
I'd go for WIRED, and NOT wireless.
