Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this same problem. Once in a while, the wireless connection on my macbook seems to drop. If i wait a few minutes it would eventually reconnect. Sometimes if i reselect my network it would reconnect. I have tried everything from reseting my router to disconnecting and reconnecting cables, even re-installing os x! Please help.

I have this occasionally on my macbook too. I simply deleted the airport preference file and it seemed to sort itself out. First, turn off airport, then go to:

    Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist

Drag that file to the desktop. Then turn airport back on, and it will create a new file. That seemed to work with me, hopefully it will for you too! Let me know how you get on! If it seems to sort itself out, you can delete the file you dragged to your desktop. If not, you can always drag back in the old .plist file.

I was also having a similar issue with my MacBook Pro.

The Airport signal strength in my menubar would normally show the full 4 bars (As it should since I'm a meter or two from my router). Though recently it would drop to three bars, and then my internet connection would become unresponsive. To get back online, I would have to disable then re enable Airport.

At first I thought it was the router, however other iBooks and PC laptops were not having any problems.

I've now deleted this preference file and everything seems fine :).
