Wireless audio sync with Airplay speakers or HomePod?

Has anyone managed to get wireless audio sync on tvOS to work using Airplay 2 speakers or HomePod?

For some reason I can only get the audio tones to come out of my TV and not the airplay 2 speakers/HomePod to sync up the audio. Am I doing something wrong?

Running latest builds of each.

Ahh interesting -- thanks for noting. So im curious how in the world it syncs with airplay speakers if audio is played from the TV.
