Over the past few days i have experienced very slow wireless speed. I have had my MacBook for a year now and my warranty just let up, so i am afraid my wireless card has gone bad. I have been a heavy wireless user over the past year, downloading massive amounts of data on a daily bases. I am wondering why over the past few days i have experienced slow wifi speeds, would it be the base stations or maybe hardware! please help it is getting quite annoying!

Your card can't get "older" from use. Someone could be on your network, your router might be acting up, or it could be an area bandwidth issue.

Restart your router and reconnect; see if that helps.
