I had to replace the keyboard and wireless card on my 2010 13" MacBook Air due to water damage. I bought what I needed of eBay and followed a good YouTube how to :) It took some time but I managed how every I have one problem ! When trying to install the new wireless card only one of the 2 connection which I think is classed as main and aux will not clip on :( But when I boot the air the wireless work with only one connector :)

questions : why is the card working with one connection? will this damage the air?

Likely because there is an antenna for 2.4GHz and one for 5GHz. You machine probably only work on one of the frequencies now..
