Hi everyone,

Looking for a compatible one that won't break the bank for my iPhone 11 Pro. I've never used a wireless charger before so not exactly sure what to look for. I know iPhone's can only charge up to 7.5w, but is there anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks!

I thought the 11’s could be charged at higher wattage?
It definitely showed that the Pro/Pro Max charged faster wirelessly that previous iPhones, but I can't find it anymore. Guess it was an error.

All iPhones that support wireless charging are limited to 7.5w

I’ve been using the Anker PowerWave 7.5w wireless charger for over a year and it’s been fabulous..

If Apple's version of "fast" (7.5W) charging is important, then verify here that the chargers you consider conform to the Extended Power Profile (EPP) spec. Any charger in that database will also be Qi-certified.

iOS 13.1 became more selective about how it negotiates the charging rate, and chargers that don't conform to EPP are unlikely to fast charge according to Apple's requirements, though they will charge at the 5W Basic Power Profile level.

Many, if not most, chargers on the market are BPP, and even if they're advertised as 7.5W with Apple devices, that can change with 13.1. Not unlike when iOS 7 rendered many uncertified Lighting cables useless.

Unfortunately, wireless "fast" charging has become balkanized like wired fast charging, with everyone doing their own thing, forcing users to engage in a certain amount of trial and error to find combinations that work.

Samsung, at least, has published their spec for inclusion in the Qi certification process, but there is no such clarity from Apple, with only the assumption that the method that it prefers is covered in the EPP guidelines.

Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm looking for one for my iPhone 11 Pro, my new watch and something that will either charge the new airpods pro via plug-in or wireless. Any recommendations?

Ended up ordering this today. Will let you all know how it is.

Wireless Charger I Ordered
I looked at that one but I could not figure out what the difference was between the model you ordered (pc058) and the pc034 and their support was less than helpful when asked about it.

Also none of the models are listed on the wireless consortium page linked by @TheIntruder, I am not sure what that means though.

No idea but since no one gave me any recommendations, went with this one at least for now.

I'm using the new samsung wireless charging stand that I purchased to go with my Note 10 Plus.
Works perfect and seems to charge the iPhone pretty fast.

Hi,

Just be aware that some wireless chargers won't charge through some phone cases.

I own a Logitech Charged and it won't charge my phone when it has one of the Mous Limitless 3.0 and the Mous Contour cases on it.

I ended up getting the Anker PowerWave 10 wireless charger and it works great with the Mous cases, just thought i'd share my experience :)

That looks nice actually. I was going to get a Samsung one but could not fine a decent one for cheaper.

Yeah I figured as much. I have the Apple leather case on at the moment so I am good. The charger came in today, works good. Won't be able to tell until tomorrow after it sits on the charger all night.

That is cool. I could have gotten one as well when I got my S10 earlier this year (work phone). Forgot all about it an missed out on the buds or whatever else I wanted for up to 130 bucks lol. Shame on me.

It’s pricy, but the mophie 3-in-1 wireless charging station has been the best wireless charging solution I’ve used for my devices.
