I bought a Universal wireless charging pad from Belkin, which is supposed to charge both PMA and Qi-standard devices http://www.belkin.com/us/F8M744-Belkin/p/P-F8M744/

The simple instructions say place the device on a north-south or east-west axis on the charging pad. I climb into bed, place the phone on the pad as directed, and make sure I see the "charging" indicator on the display. More than once, I've awoken in the middle of the night, checked my phone, and for some reason it's no longer charging. The phone hasn't physically moved on the charging pad, yet charging has stopped.

Has anyone else had this happen, or have any ideas what might cause it?

TIA

@fridayxiii To be fair, with the product page that you linked, the thing does have pretty awful reviews. If you read into them, people are having all sorts of compatibility and charging issues. I would bet that the unit just isn't reliable, nothing on your phone's end.

I found with the cheaper chargers that some of them will stop charging when the phone is charged and then will not start charging again until the phone is moved from the charger and then placed back on the charger. So overnight the phone discharges. My Nokia charging pad senses when the phone has discharged and then starts back up again.
