Anyone else managed to charge their iPhone 12 Pro Max using a wireless charger with the case in situ?

Have tried 3 different wireless chargers and non work unless I remove from from case.

My previous iPhone 11 Pro Max and same wallet from same company works no problem.

The company who make the phone case is: https://www.snakehive.co.uk/

The company have reported other customers having similar problems.

I’ve had some issues with one of my chargers that was rectangular. I think the bump in the leather case for the camera module was causing me to poorly position the phone on the dock. Otherwise it was adding an air gap between the device and dock, raising it unlike any other previous iPhone I’ve owned where the case itself never had a bump and phones in a case would sit flat. The camera humps not massively deep, but you already have space between the coils due to the case itself, so I’m not sure if additional height around the camera module played a part.

For that dock which lays flat, I can rotate it 90 degrees to what I used to have it and it aligns better with the phone and avoids the camera module. Charging then seems more reliable.

No problems at all charging my 12 Pro Max on my Seneo wireless charging stands, with an Apple Silicone case. It also worked fine with the Torras clear case I used for the first few days I had the phone.

Might want to have a read of these threads.

I had a problem with one specific charger, tried several different cases to finally come up with the idea to test the cases with a new wireless charger in store, had no problems.

I guess certain chargers are more compatible than others.

I think it’s ironic that Apple deletes an included charger then there are numerous wireless charging issues.

My “I have no idea what it is wireless charger” on my nightstand that I’ve had for years works pretty good. Takes a little adjusting to get it started. My car, with the Apple case starts and in about 5 seconds it stops. Take the case off and it’s fine. WTH? Wasn’t this crap beta tested?

I just received this Seneo 3-in-1 charger today and appears to work well. Using with gold IP12 PM and Nomad Rugged leather case. Surprisingly the charger isn’t too picky about the exact placement over the coil. I could move it up or down about 1 cm or so from center and it would still charge. Also verified that iPhone, AirPods 2, and Apple Watch 6 could charge simultaneously without issue.

Hey fellas I been having a problem with my setup and wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have 3 power bricks (USB-C) 1 of which is the one that came with my iPhone 11 Pro. All of my wireless chargers have USB-C ports. I've bought 4 different USB-C to C cables and connect them from the power brick to my wireless charger and none of them power up. Only when I use the old style USB connector to USB-C will the light illuminate the wireless charger. I've tested all my USB-C power bricks with USB-C to lightning cable and works just fine. Shouldn't this setup work?
