It’s a Samsung Fast Charger and charges super slow. About as fast as the cord that came with it

So you're complaining that your iPhone isn't charging fast on a wireless charger that happens to be a Samsung that you openly admit as being slow?

I went back to re-read most of the replies to your post and even pushing my imagination I could not find a lot of people agreeing with you.

The iPhone X does support fast charging. Wired fast charging. It does not support wireless fast charging.

iPad charges at 12W. Standard iPhone charges at 5W.

Basic electric understanding that your iPad charger will charge the iPhone X faster than the standard iPhone charger. However, it does not take advantage of the 12W or 15W+ wireless chargers that are out there.
