I have the following items all currently connected through a fast ethernet connection and using NTT's Flets to connect to the internet.

G4 computer
Intel MacBook
Gateway laptop (Win)
Canon printer
2 IO Data external HD's
Canoscan scanner

I would like to continue using the Flets connection for the internet but would like to link the computers and the printer to a wireless network and eliminate the clutter of cables, hubs and routers.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Assuming you have an airport card in the G4 all you need is an Airport base or other wireless access point. That will connect to your router and act as a via ethernet and act as a gateway for the wireless-enabled computers on your network. Simplez...

Your printer can be shared via the Airport base, which has USB connection for that purpose. The scanner will, however, have to remain connected direct to whichever computer you use it with. It might be worth considering replacing the printer and scanner with an all-in-one that will work over the network (wireless models are available).
