Howdy peoples.

Here's the deal, I'm file sharing from a macbook (version 10.6.7) to a Windows 7 Media Centre.

I'm connected through wireless d-link.

I'm watching movies on my mac (which I've downloaded) and the WIRELESS KEEPS DROPPING OUT~!

Is there anyway I can strengthen it? It works from 5 mins to 1/2 an hour then drops out.

AAAAAAny suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Flash your router with DD-WRT and increase the transmit power.

I’m no router expert, so this is the first I’ve seen about DD-WRT. Does this allow you to increase the transmit power of any router that is supported by DD-WRT. Are there any disadvantages to not using the stock firmware?

Edit: NVM. It says the Netgear WNDR3400 is WIP.
