Wireless Extension w/ Airport & Linksys

I havent done it yet so I cant tell you what has/hasnt worked, but what Id like to do is use my Airport Express to connect to my friends linksys wireless router and I want to be able to use his internet connection but my airtunes/usb wireless printing. A guy at the Genius Bar in the apple store did some research and found that its possible, but he didnt have the time to explain how. Anyone know what Id have to do?

You have to hack the Linksys firmware. The hack is out on the net somewhere. I haven't tried it, but it does appear to work. Otherwise, you can only extend the network with AirportExpress if you're also using an Airport base station.
