I just got an ibook with an airport card. I also have a pc that uses ethernet. Can i buy a wireless router that i can use with the airport card, and still plug an ethernet cable into my pc from the same router? Also, which routers work with my airport card (not the apple ones)?

Yes. Yes. Pretty much anyone. Netgear, Linksys, Belkin (which is synonymous with "crap quality"), etc..

yes, you can.

i have a similar set up as yours ...iBook wireless and PC hooked up to a linksys router hooked up to a cable modem. It works great!

why do i need i cable modem if i have dsl? or is that what i have now? (only one port and it says comtrend adsl router)

rhodest,

I'm too lazy to check, but make sure your DSL modem has an ethernet port. Some DSL modems have USB connections.
