I have the following issue - I have MacPro mid 2014 retina and just got A1016 wireless keyboard, all is good but if I turn the bluetooth off, and then on again the keyboard does not connect automatically and turns itself off and I need to take the batteries off and then put them on again. Why is that?

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), Mid 2014 13' Retina

That is a seriously old keyboard. Probably just a function of the old Bluetooth or of it being worn out.

(Solution: Don't turn Bluetooth off. Why would you anyway?)

Sometimes I turn my laptop off, or just put it to sleep, when I move places...
