Wireless Keyboard Batteries

How long do the Apple bluetooth keyboard batteries last on you guys? Does it use the batteries when the computer is connected to it but not using the keyboard? My week old keyboard just went thru them like nothing, and I've just barely have used my KB.

Oh well maybe they were low on juice when i got them.

The batteries in my Bluetooth keyboard usually last at least 6-7 months without need for replacement.

In my case, because I use the keyboard all the time, all day long, i'd say about 4 months.

Same, around four or five months. These are with Sanyo's Eneloops.

I have a set of 1000 milliamp AA rechargeables in my RocketFish Bluetooth keyboard. It has been left on for weeks now and not run down. I can't say the same for my MS bluetooth mouse. It runs on 2 AAAs and I have to remember to shut it off or it will die in a day.

Yea, the wireless keyboard batteries is a none issue, they last forever. I use rechargeables on mine.

do u guys turn off the keyboard (holding down the power button) when everytime you don't use it?

i never turn my keyboard off and the batteries usually last about 4 months.
not bad at all.
