Having bought my first iMac back in March 09, I think my Wireless Keyboard has developed a fault. Several keys around the "W" key are making a very clicky plastic type sound, almost like a cracking noise. Nothing has spilt over the keyboard, in fact I pride myself of keeping items such as these free from any contaminants. However, each time i press keys in this are it feels as though they are going to break. ?

I took out Apple Care and wondered what my options are. My local apple store is not that local to be honest, and whilst the keyboard still works I do not want to be without it.

What procedure do they have in the UK for this problem and is it covered. I presume it is, as its only 4 months old.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well I didnt get any replies to this but thought I would update you.

I telephoned the Apple CAre helpline and they simply sent me a new one and I sent the old one back. All done and dusted within 48hrs.

Thank you Apple :)
