Hi all.
I currently have a pretty effective wireless media library set up: The iTunes Library is stored on an external hard drive, which is plugged into a Time Capsule.
This allows me to wirelessly stream my content to my MacBook at an acceptable speed; Music plays without delay, Movies and TV Shows with enough of a delay to be noticeable, but not enough to annoy (Although that said, any advice in speeding this up would be much appreciated).
However, when I plug my iPhone into my MacBook to sync it, syncing takes a LONG time. We're talking about 10-15 minutes to sync a film. My question is this: Would buying a USB hub and plugging both the iPhone and External HD into, then into the Time Capsule help solve this problem? Would iTunes even detect the iPhone?
In theory it ought to work, as the content would not have to be transmitted wirelessly at any point, but I'm not sure if the OS X code would cover such an instance.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
