So, i bought myself a apple wireless keyboard and mouse here the other day:).
Installation when somewhat smooth, but im getting very very frustrated over the ":apple: Inteligent Powersaving" feature that sumed up is nothing more than a "if idle more than 15sec, then turn off transmition".
Now if the keyboard would atlest remember the key i press when its off and then send it as it gains contact with my Mac but that is not the case, you have to press the keys twice:mad:.

So i wonder if there is a way to maybe change the timer to something reasonable like 1 minute or so? Or simply turn the powersaving off?

(under both OSX and Windows 7 since i use both)

I have the wireless keyboard like you but I've never used it with my mac, only my iPhone. It seems not to power down until the screen is locked by time out (3 min) or until I manually lock the phone.

If I have an app that keeps the screen awake the keyboard never seems power down.

Sounds weird to me that yours powers down so quickly.
