I was after a more geeky solution, i was thinking of a waterproof touchscreen that can be mounted on the wall, wireless speakers in the bathroom (built into the walls/side of bath) touch screen being able to control the music wirelessley via itunes....

Maybe a bit before its time...

Just how long are your bathroom visits?

Does nobody here actually take a 30 minute soak in a nice bubbly bath!?

Mark... you're really a woman aren't you?!! hehe :D

I created a bathroom speaker set-up in my old flat. Not quite as flash as what you hope to achieve though. Basically I used a Cambridge Soundworks pc set - 2 small cube satellite speakers and a powered subwoofer, which was wired through the wall and under the floorboards. It was connected to the stereo in the bedroom next door, so whatever was playing in there would also output to the bathroom. All of the wires were concealed in the stud walls and within some shelves I built and I wall-mounted a volume control knob from Maplin.

Obviously this is the sort of job you do when you're installing a new bathroom so I don't have this in my new place (it is sorely missed though)

As others have pointed out, do bear in mind the new UK building regulations regarding electrical installations that came into effect at the beginning of this year.
