since I upgraded to SL, I have had major problems with my wifi. I am a noob when it comes to wireless stuff, and don't know how to fix this. It takes like 2-5 minutes for it to "warm up" and able to load web pages, and it randomly drops the connection. As I have seen from a search, this has been a problem with some people for a while, but nothing seemed to show me how to fix it.

Right now, I am using a ethernet cable instead of the wifi. How can I fix this?

You might try changing the channel your router / WAP is using and see if that helps - seem to recall that has improved things for some folks.
