Greetings,
I am awaiting delivery of a brand new Mac Powerbook which will, I am told, come with Jaguar installed. It is airport ready, I know I will need an airport card, and I would like to connect wirelessly to a Canon printer. This printer is to be shared with a Windows PC/laptop also. The printer is a BJC 8200 with a usb port. I am currently connected to the printer through a usb hub with the PC. If anyone has an idea of a good way to do this I would be grateful. I know this is a mundane question, but I don't know how to do it. Thanks. Jack

Well, other than buying a wireless print server, you are going to have to try one of two things:

1) Buy a wireless card for the PC Laptop and connect it to the printer. That laptop (once you've figured out how to configure it) becomes the wireless print server.

2) buy another mac with USB and an AirPort card, and connect the printer to that and make that a wireless print server using either OS 9's USB Printer Sharing or Jaguar's USB Printer Sharing.

Other than that, I think the wireless print server/router thingamabob will be the cheaper way to go. This probably didn't help much, did it?

Regards,
Gus
