Hi I am new to Apple, but they seem great, I have a notebook and desktop Mac and both are on the latest OSX I have a printer attatched to the desktop and wish to print wirelessly to it from my note book the printer is also wireless its a Lexmark 4600 all in one (you know £30 for printer and £90 for ink 3 times a month). any ideas on the networking / printing

Well first off both have to be on the same network. Now I'm going to assume you have the notebook on a wireless network that connected to the same network as your desktop.

If that's done, just enable this:

Then your printer should show on the network as long as your desktop is turned on.

LOL, I can relate to that. When we bought our Brother wireless laser printer, I noticed that the toner drums are almost as expensive as the printer itself. I told my wife that once our initial drum ran out, it'd probably be smarter to just buy a new printer! :D

Of course, that wouldn't be the "green" thing to do though.

Sell the old printers on eBay ;)
